FAQ

Here is a list of frequently asked questions that we get regularly.  If you are looking for some information you may find the answer you are looking for here.  If you do not find the information you are looking for here please contact the office.

  1. Where is the training facility located?  The training facility is located at 465 Pinebush Rd, Unit 6 in Cambridge ON.  We do not have any signage and are located next to our fitness provider Hotshot Athletic that does have a sign.
  2. Do you have equipment for rent or to use? No, you are responsible for providing your own gear whether you are a goalie or player, no matter what program you are in.
  3. Is there public skating at the training facility? No, we do not offer any walk in programs, however You can rent the ice to go skating in a small group with family or friends, or to play 2 on 2 or 3 on 3, just to shoot the puck around or have your child"s birthday party.
  4. Can I schedule my students private lessons online? No, with how quickly schedules change, with new bookings, cancellations, times for player vs goalie it is very difficult to keep the schedule updated to the minute.  You can register for a package or individual lesson online, but to schedule them you need to contact the office.
  5. What is your cancellation policy? For private lessons it is 48hrs to avoid being charged for the lesson, for week long camps and weekly programs there is no cancellation.  This means no refunds or credits will be given for missed programs unless we cancel them and there is no possibility to make them up.  Under special circumstances a credit may be given for week long camps and group programs.  Contact the office for details here.
  6. When should I arrive for my lesson/program/camp? For private lessons and group clinics, no more than 30 minutes before your start time.  If you are late, on occasion we may be able to make up the time but there is no guarantee of that.  For facility summer camps, please arrive 30 minutes prior to start on the first day of camp, after that be there as early as you need to make sure you are ready on time.  For Satellite locations on day 1 of camp we recommend arriving 45 minutes early to make sure you get situated properly and there is no rush to get out on the ice
  7. Is there somewhere for spectators at the training facility? Yes, we have a comfortable viewing area for spectators.  Parents are welcome as much or as little as they want for there students training.  Just please make sure that you try to keep it clean and do not leave garbage all over the place.
  8. Is there someone to help my student with equipment if I can not be there? Yes there is for week long camps.  If your student does need help with equipment please make sure that they are there early so there is time to help everyone.  For private lessons and association clinics there is not an option for this.
  9. Will I get the same instructor every time? There is no guarantee as to specific instructors, however, if your schedule is consistent you will likely have the same one.  We can guarantee that there will not be a revolving door between instructors and if there is a change, instructors will communicate to make the transition seamless.
  10. I can't find my forms, where are they? Forms are to be downloaded during the registration process if you do it online.  You have to click that you have downloaded them to move forward in the registration.  If you call in the registration, or do it any other way the forms will be emailed to you at the address provided.  If you do not see them please check your spam.  If you still don't have them please CLICK HERE to find the ones you need to download and fill out.
  11. Will Rick be around at the office or any camps or lessons? No, Rick has not been involved in the school in over 10 years and has no involvement in any way, and we have no involvement with him.
